Plasmid Factory is the world’s leading supplier of Minicircle DNA. Minicircle DNA contains almost exclusively the “Gene of Interest” and its regulating sequence motifs. Redundant bacterial backbone sequences (resistances against antibiotics, origin of replication (ori), etc…) are completely removed, resulting in a safe and highly efficient vector system. Minicircle DNA meets even future regulatory requirements for gene therapy and vaccine products. Plasmid Factory’s minicircle DNA system guarantees efficient and reliable research, with maximized transfection. Plasmid Factory has already brought the first minicircle DNA product to market: the McBox. McBox contains 100 µg each of certified minicircle and plasmid DNA which both include the reporter gene. With McBox, researchers get the opportunity to directly compare minicircle DNA and the corresponding “classical” plasmid in the individual applications in their own labs.
