Oncology Times, Emergency Medicine News, and Plastic and
Reconstructive Surgery Took APEX Grand Awards
PHILADELPHIA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#APEX—Wolters
Kluwer Health announced today that nine of its Lippincott
healthcare publications won 11 awards in the 30th
annual APEX Awards. Oncology Times won the Grand Award for
Feature Writing, Emergency Medicine News won the Grand Award for
Regular Departments and Columns, and Plastic and Reconstructive
Surgery won two Grand Awards for Electronic Media and Social Media.
“CAR T-Cell Therapy: The New Frontier of Hope,” the Oncology Times article
that won the Grand Award, covered a ground-breaking procedure that
re-engineered immune cells for a patient with relapsed acute
lymphoblastic leukemia.
Now in its 30th year, the APEX
Awards recognize extraordinary work by professional communicators.
