WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Innovation Policy Solutions LLC (iPolicy), a leading government relations firm that promotes biomedical innovation through policy change, today announced the promotion of Megan Anderson Brooks, PhD, to President and the addition of Lindsey Trischler as Principal. In these new roles, Dr. Anderson Brooks and Ms. Trischler will look to build on the firm’s recent success, expand its client base, and enable broader patient access to innovative technologies.

Dr. Anderson Brooks will lead the firm’s legislative and appropriations practices. With a combined fifteen years of professional experience in scientific research and policy consulting, she specializes in implementing federal policy solutions that incentivize the use and adoption of healthcare and technology innovations. This includes science and regulatory policy related to basic and clinical scientific research, personalized medicine, federal oversight of diagnostics and biotech devices, and patient-specific issues related to access and patient-centered treatment development. Earlier in her career, Dr. Anderson Brooks worked as a fellow for the Society for Neuroscience and the New Jersey Department of Health. She earned a PhD in neuroscience from Rutgers University and was awarded a fellowship from the Eagleton Institute of Politics.

Ms. Trischler will be responsible for supporting the firm’s work centered on patient access and coalition building. During her career, she has focused on both state and federal policy issues, including patient access to affordable care while working at the International Myeloma Foundation. Ms. Trischler also was integral to the management of a coalition of more than 80 members advocating for federal funding for medical research, prevention, and public health. She holds a master’s degree in public administration and policy from American University and a bachelor of arts degree in communications and public relations from the University of Cincinnati.
