Exbio – hybridoma cell lines

Exbio is a biotech company manufacturing monoclonal antibodies and has become a trusted and reliable supplier to many of the leading biotech companies. With its high performance characteristics and quality, Exbio’s antibodies are widely recognized reagents and appear in catalogues of most of immunochemical retailers.

Exbio supplies high-quality antibodies thanks to strong Research & Development capabilities (hybridoma technology, antibodies, recombinant proteins, etc…) in co-operation with several academic institutions. Using its effective immunization techniques, proprietary hybridoma cloning and propagation process, Exbio generates new hybridoma cell lines and monoclonal antibodies. Exbio also offers ApoFlowEx FITC Kit, a flow cytometry test based on Annexin V-FITC conjugate and propidium iodide (PI), and able to discriminate intact cells (FITC-/PI-), apoptotic cells (FITC+/PI-) and necrotic cells (FITC+/PI+). Exbio also proposes the sHLA-G ELISA kit, used to determine the soluble forms of Human Leukocyte Antigen-G (sHLA-G) in amniotic fluid, cell culture supernatant, plasma and serum. In this sHLA-G ELISA kit, samples and standards are incubated with mouse monoclonal antibody MEM-G/9 recognizing the most abundant soluble isoforms: HLA-G1 and intron4-containing secreted HLA-G5. Indeed, Exbio has an extensive catalog of kits and tools taking advantage of its proprietary monoclonal antibodies (SpermFlow Kit, 7-AAD (7-Aminoactinomycin D) Staining Solution, BasoFlowEx Kit, CellCycleFlowEx Kit, EXCELLYSE Easy, KOMBITEST, FagoFlowEx Kit, IngoFlowEx Kit, etc…).
Exbio was founded in 1990 by Dr. Vladimir Viklicky as a spin-off company of Czech Academy of Sciences. Continuous economic growth resulted in the creation of its own manufacture facility on February 2003. Exbio, based in Vestec (Czech Republic), manufactures more than 90% of the products in its catalogue, offering bulk quantities at very reasonable prices. Exbio is currently participating in various research grants, including European large scale integrating FP7 HEALTH projects SYBILLA (Systems Biology of T-cell Activation in Health and Disease) and NANOFOL (Folate-based nanobiodevices for integrated diagnosis / therapy targeting chronic inflammatory diseases).
