And TriLink also offers specialty modified nucleotides such as bisphosphates, a series of monophosphates, CAP and mCAP, etc… CleanAmp Hot Start PCR is a patented technology providing a specific, sensitive and flexible alternative to Hot Start DNA polymerases. TriLink has applied this expertise in modified nucleic acid chemistry to develop chemically modified dNTPs and primers that enable Hot Start PCR using standard Taq DNA polymerase. CleanAmp products are thus ideal for applications such as multiplex PCR, RT-PCR, fast PCR, digital PCR, end-point PCR, etc… Furthermore, new base modifications involved in epigenetic pathways are continually being discovered (i.e. 5-Hydroxymethyl-dC, 5-Hydroxymethyl-dU and 5-Formyl-dC were recently acknowledged as key players in the epigenetic pathway for 5-Methyl-dC).
